On May 20, 2010 Wyanad Muslim Orphanage (WMO) had organized a mass wedding function where 60 Muslim, 10 Hindu and one Christain couples tied the knot. Swami Aswathy Thirunal delivered a memorable speech on this occasion. He emphasized the importance of this wedding festival which was set as a model to the dowry ridden marriage system prevailing in Indian society. Swamiji stressed that the need of the hour is the dynamism in peace and tolerance.
